Sold or would like to sell?
Could you do this and make a living on it?
Does it cost much to get started doing it?
How many supplies did you need to get started?
I use to make floral arrangments and had a fairly sucessful business in Hawaii and once we came back stateside. After that it really slacked off and I lost interest. I still make a few and sell to my MIL's friends and I always make her centerpieces for the holidays.
If I could I would love to open a little shop and sell all sorts of Hand made items.

Sold or would like to sell?I have sold in the past afghans, doilies, small home decor items and some clothing I have made. Could you do this and make a living on it?I wish I could, but don't know how to go about it. Does it cost much to get started doing it?The crocheting doesn't at all, between a hook and a skein or 2 of yarn with a free pattern off the net, maybe $5-$10 to make a scarf. All depends on what type of yarn you use. The sewing well yes, you need a sewing machine and those can run you anywhere from $100 (very basic machine in Wal*Mart) to literally thousands for a top of the line machine with all the bells and whistles you can imagine. (My dream machine! LOL ;D ) How many supplies did you need to get started? Not really sure, I have been accumulating crochet hooks, knitting needles, yarn, fabric and now sewing machines for years. My stashes of yarn and fabric would scare you all, I think I could open my own store. LOL

Sold or would like to sell?
I have made potpourri, herb mixtures, and wreaths. Would like to add soaps, wood crafts, fresh herbs, etc
Could you do this and make a living on it? I guess if I had the right market. Would love to try.
Does it cost much to get started doing it? Probably not, since I would like to grow alot of my own ingredients. This is a dream my dd LoriT and I have. One day we will grow all our own herbs and flowers and have a little country store.
How many supplies did you need to get started? Some wreaths, wire, tools, a few bags, some wood..etc. Not much I would say. We are working on that dream right now. Wish us luck!
