to anyone who freecycles: How long do you give someone who has said they want your item to pick it up?...I don't know the proper etiquette for this...Thanks

Jayne,
People usually come right away to get the things I offered. I would think that I would give them a week. Then I would probably email them and see if they plan to come get it. If not I would relist it. HTH

Not sure about where you are but here in SC & NC we give them 3 days unless they have requested a longer period of time ie.can't PU untill the weekend. Then it goes to the next on the list.
