I fell back into the John Sandford trap again. LOL I am reading Broken Prey, I just finished Rules of Prey.
Then I have 3 other books that Mother sent me, we do book swaps. She gets them from Bargin Book Store for 1/3 of the price and sends them after she is done reading them. I send them back, she sells them back to the store and gets new books! Great deal I wish I could find one here!

It's really a lot of fun this way because I never know what she is sending me ;D She won't tell me before she sends it. So it's always a surprise!

I got Twilight Children from the Library yesterday. It is by Torey Hayden. It is non-fiction. Very interesting. She is a former special ed teacher turned child physchologist who works with very disturbed children. It is sad, yet uplifting- she is very gifted.

BR, Max Lucado is a Christian writer. He writes the best books about Christ and about your Christian walk. He is easy to read, makes much sense and is such a wonderful man. He also writes children's fiction and character books. If you would like a list of what he writes let me know..I collect his books..

Right now, I am reading the Harry Potter series to my ds. A friend lent him the first one and he is enjoying it very much. I wasn't sure about reading them because of the subject matter, but I decided to read what he likes to encourage his reading. We have had a discussion about them and our beliefs.

I'm busy listening to the new audio book on CD called "Eldest", by Christopher Paolini. It's the second book in his "Inheritance" series. It's great for someone who loves adventure and fantasy type books! He is an excellent writer, homeschooled.

I was in the same fix re: Harry Potter. My daughter has gone off them now.
I will try my library catalogue for Max. Sometimes they have books that are popular in the States. I should walk down and get my password reset, at the moment I can't reserve books as they have a new system and the password dob but they didn't say which format.

I'm reading Dee Henderson "the O'Malley Series". Just finished #5 and whew, that was a sad one, but good like the rest of them. I'll probably start the last one tonight.

They don't seem to have your favorites Carolyn. I could always put in a request though. Do you have a favorite from the three mentioned above to get me started?
