I don't often buy books, but when I do, they're given away or lent out once I've read them. We don't have much book storage and besides there are very few novels I'd read twice, so I figure they may as well be out there being enjoyed by others.
What do you do?

I usually just borrow them from the library

We have this huge cupboard that used to be a homemade pantry full of preserving jars and bottles, it is filled with a double layer of text books. In the lounge there are some paperbacks and some recipe books, some where taken away recently. I have a small bookcase with picture books and childs reference books, but it is due for a downsize as well. I have a row of Little House books of my own in my room.

Love the sound of your cupboard, Br! I'd love some storage like that, and not just for books!
