How did the exams go? You happy with how it all turned out?
Two of mine had exams, one for his final year of high school, the other to complete his 1st year of uni (but he's been there longer than that, just didn't pass much!). The high school one should be able to get into his course of choice, the uni lad made all distinctions, so was very happy, particularly given the number of hours of paid work he's been doing as well. This year I finally realised I can't live their lives for them, so it's been interesting to see how they've gone.
Good to see you back on board, as it were.

Howdy, Violet,
WHEW. I passed. Nearly passed out with worry first, though. Y'see, I didn't discipline myself very well re: study habits, and I blew the first of the two law exams - well, blew it insofar as it should have been my stronger of the two, til I panicked about 1/2 of the way through it. Must have done VERY well on the second one. I passed anyway, so now go on a waiting list to get into second year.
Passed soci and psyc, too. Happy enough with the grades, considering the workload at work and the poor study habits! In fact, the marks are better than what I expected at times. Plan to take more psych papers next year if I don't get into 2nd year law til 2007 - limited entry classes.
Congrats on the kids doing well. :-)
Good to be back.

Nope - LOL - law, 2 psychology papers, 2 sociology papers. Man, they all three speak such different languages! ;-) Can't believe a full year has gone already - why on earth did I ever wait so long to return to study? 1/3 of the way to a psych degree, 1/4 of the way to a law degree, 1/3 of the way to a sociology degree if I chose to go that route - am doing a double in law and psych.
