Just finished another Sue Grafton - I love murder mysteries!! I think it's the twists and turns and wondering that gets me involved.....

I remember being like that Lucie.
This year, I started two books and sent them back. The third was OK, and the last two I have really enjoyed.

You can add your magazines to the list Lucie! I have read The Outlaws Twin Sister three times, finished it this morning, again. By the same author I now have Beneath A Dakota Cross by Stephen Bly. My husband asked to me explain why The Outlaws Twin Sister was so good and I explained it while we were eating tea/dinner. My daughter thought it was scary lol. It was about New Mexico, kind of a love story about a lady who owned a jewelery store. She learnt jewellery from her mother's cousin's husband as she lived with them as a child. When the train line opened up there she started a store with her sister. She was half Mexican. It speaks of cantinas like a song by Marty Robbins. I have two Australian cookbooks to read, see other thread.

I've been reading the Harmony novels by Phillip Gulley and have fallen in love with them! LOL, I can hardly put them down.
If you liked the Mitford series by Jan Karon, you'd enjoy these as well.
