Years ago I succumbed to temptation and bought a few books for practically nothing from a book buying club. I then had to buy a certain number of books during the year, all at reduced prices. They were all lovely hardback books, but eventually I cancelled as so many of them could be found at the library.
I saw an ad for one of these services again recently, but resisted. Does anyone else buy books this way?

I have failed at this twice, so I have to keep remembering that. I was tempted not long ago, but try to stay away. I think the books I really want now are mostly American so I can buy them through Buy Australian or try Amazon or the other nice one. I was in this one: www.doubledaybookclub.com/

I was interested in the flyer they put out about cookbooks 3 for $10, there was one about Kylie Kwong.
