Hope I haven't mentioned this one before. I read it ages ago, and stumbled across it again while cleaning the bookshelves. I believe it is to be made into a movie.
As the title suggests, it does relate a particular story, however what's interesting about this book is that the narrator and main character is an adolescent boy who has a form of Autism.
It's a deceptively simple book and a very worthwhile read. The book was originally written for a teenaged audience, but has been taken up by a much wider age range.
