I know choosing books for other people can be fraught, but is there anything better than choosing books for kids? I love looking around the children's section of the book shop and seeing what's there.

Recently I bought a copy of "Peepo" for a friend's new daughter - it was a favorite of my dd for years. It was lovely to sit back and re-read it after all these years.

I think books make the perfect gift, especially for kids.
