I have a huge pile of books. My reasoning is that I may be at the largely empty new house waiting for tradesmen etc. this week and may need something to do.
A lot of them I don't know if I like them, so will just start each one and see how it goes. I saw them on the net somewhere etc.
A Tapestry of Hope by Judith Miller & Tracie Peterson
I have started re-reading The Senator's Other Daughter by Stephen Bly.
Blood of the Prodigal by P. L Gaus The Silver Brumby by Elyne Mitchell A Change of Heart by Philip Gulley from August A Woman's Place by Lynn Austin a southern book The Widow's Club by Joyce Livingston Remembering Babylon by David Malouf, an Koori story from August, I have half read it, Hard Times by Charles Dickens The Silent Frontier by Peter Watt and Susan Wittig Alberts The Tale of Hill Top Farm from August reading list.

I am re-reading the Amish series, Annie's People" by Beverly Lewis. She has a few series based on the Amish that I have enjoyed. Also sitting by my chair is "Light in the Window by Jan Karon. Her Father Tim series is good, although I must confess, the last book, Light from Heaven is my favorite.

Yes. I haven't made the "Orange Marmalade Cake" yet, though when the orange tree ripens I should. I also like "Cooking From Quilt Country" by Marcia Adams and 'The Amish Cook" by Elizabeth Coblentz. Good stout fill-up-yer-tummy food! Plus GORGEOUS pictures of the countryside!

I am re-reading the Amish series, Annie's People" by Beverly Lewis. She has a few series based on the Amish that I have enjoyed. The first Beverly Lewis book I tried to read I didn't like. I have just finished the first book in the Amish Country Crossroads series and loved that so will continue reading the series.
