Interesting site...thanks Braided-rug  SOOOOO.....what are YOU reading? I just finished the new Jan Karon novel in the Father Tim Series, "Home to Holly Springs" which tells us about Father Tim's childhood...explains a bit about the how and why's of his upbringing....I found it "OK" not all that great, but not horrible...sometimes you can only carry on a series so long before you loose it. I have been also reading more cookbooks, Spanish Home Cooing by Miriam Kelen, and Six Spices byNeeta Saluia....this is a great book because it only uses 6 spices and six (or less) ingrediants in each recipe...makes cooking Indian food do-able! |

I sometimes wish I could go back to my childhood and take more notice of my friend's mother when she was cooking Spanish food.
I have heard about a new Jan Karon novel. It is interesting that it is about Tim's childhood, you always wonder about that.
I am reading the Red River series by Lauraine Snelling.
