I was introduced to the works of Diane Mott Davidson a few years back, and am delighted when I find another of her books at the library.

Last night I read "Tough Cookie", which was a particularly convoluted tale of murder, betrayal and secrets.

One of the highlights of her books is her food talk. The central character is a caterer, and we get to enjoy her food throughout each tale. Recipes are included in the text.

Fun reading.
