I am making blocks for a project based her in Mass called "To the Top". This group of ladies makes quilts for veterans.
I just joined a week or so ago, so I haven't finished any yet, but I'm working on it!
So does anyone else quilt for charity?

I am waiting until I have more cash...I don't have any masculine fabrics. Weird, huh?

Not weird at all. I have tons of florals, paisleys and pastels but realised that I didn't have any dark neutrals. So when I went shopping I did get some reds and oranges, but I didn't see any browns, blues or tans that I liked. I'm going to keep looking.
I have this really neat baseball fabric with a royal blue background I thought would make a nice quilt for a little boy. Haven't found a pattern I like yet to use it in. I think it will have to be pretty simple or do you think something with stars in it is okay for a boy?
