I belong to a local quilt club, nothing official really, it's just a group of us country gals that get together and enjoy quilting. We meet twice a month on Thursday nights. The funnest part is show and tell time, where ladies display their finished projects or works in progress. I brought my button tin to the meeting last Thursday. I had so much fun, digging out each and every button and going over them with a couple other ladies who enjoy buttons! We had a scrap piece of dark velvet we laid all my buttons out on...just like when a jeweler displays a diamond ring for ya! I collect unique buttons, and boy we did have such a good time sorting them out and fingering all the different shapes and colors. Such a simple past time, but we sure did have a good 2 hours of fun playing in them. Felt like a little girl again!! LOL

Your quilt club sounds like a blast Tammie, wish we had one around here. I have tons of buttons too, but none really unique.
