I'm hand sewing the binding to the back of a king size Log Cabin quilt that will be a gift for my cousin. Big job....won't be done anytime soon! LOL Tammie

Ya'll have lots of neat projects going...I made new drapes for our bedroom. We moved to our new house in December. I also made matching pillows and covered a small antique chair. Next I need to make drapes/curtains for the dining room, and kitchen breakfast area. I need to make a slipcover for my grandma's old chair for the study too. Plus, I like making little outfits for my grand-daughter. My dd wants me to start making purses too....So lots to do here, on rainy days, as I'll be in the gardens on sunny days. = )

If I get motivated, I might actually do the diaper bag for Daniel that should have been done before he was born lol

I got to my pile of stuff for the serger last night. I cut a mattress pad in 1/2 and finished the edges to use on our new couch and loveseat under the slip covers. I whipped out a new nighty for dd from a T-shirt. And I turned a onsie into a T-shirt for ds#2.

Why thank you! *blushes and takes a bow*
Who has a serger? It took like 10 minutes, well, maybe 20 for everything. And I stretched the T-shirt nighty out around the sleeves and bottom when I sewed it to give it that rippled look! It turned out very cute!

They called and aren't coming until tomorrow or Friday now. It will give me 5 sewing machines and 2 sergers. I also have an older (very heavy) machine that needs the light thingie fixed and my treadle machine I need a couple of parts for. ;D

Sounds like Dee can start her own sewing school up there with all those machines. Hope you have lots of fun with them.
As for me, I haven't touched the sewing machine in a couple of weeks now. Just can't find the time or energy.
