.........haven't seen that version before! Some years ago I decided to make some and I guess I did about 5 of them. At first I used just the leg and made a fringe across the bottom and the waistband for the shoulder strap. Then I made them by cutting of the legs at the crotch opening it up from one side seam to the other and then stiching it all closed. I found cute belts and put them through the belt loops or used a red bandana as a belt and again used a waist band from another pair for the shoulder strap. Well, everyone liked them and I sold a couple but, my big idea came to an end when I discovered that sewing through the jean seams put my sewing machine out of alignment and it cost me $80.00 to get it fixed! I'm sure the machines today can handle it but, mine didn't.
I still have a few and use them once in a while just for something different to carry. I used leather fringe on some and hung long silver "western" earings from the pockets and dressed them up with silver studs and stars etc.
Anyway..............that is my two cents worth!
