This morning these were a discarded pair of dh's boxer shorts. This evening they are a nighty for dd. I cut off the waist band and took the boxers apart at the crotch seam, leaving the side seams intact. One half was wrapped around dd, with the hem at the top, marked to size and stitched up the side. I cut the hem off the other leg to use for the straps then I made a new hem. (It needs pressed out, you can see it's flipped up exposing the stitches) I wanted to put more of a rufffle on the bottom, but the piece just wasnt long enough. For the matching headband I just shortened up the waistband! I'm tickled with the result!

I just love what you did! Neat way to recycle old shorts and make something just darling for your dear daughter!! She is a very sparkling model for you in her daddy's shorts!! Too, too cute! Great job!!
