I needed something with bells to hang on the front door of the shop so I came up with this.
I used fusible webbing to make double sided leaf shapes out of my upholstry sampes. I think I ended up with 14. Then I cut 7 pieces of ribbon at different lengths and sewed a leaf to each end. I extended the stitching up to look like the center vein of the leaf. Then I found the center of all my ribbons and stitched them together leaving a loop at the top to hang it by. I tied jingle bells on where each leaf meets it's ribbon and then I added a fabric bow just below my hanging loop. It turned out pretty cool! Hopefully I can get a pic posted someday soon.

Oooh! That sounds so pretty. I can't wait to see a picture. I am wondering if the mental "picture" I have is close to what the real thing looks like.
