I have some form the 70's even maybe older than that. MIL bought me an old sewing stool that has storage under the seat and when I opened it, it was full of old sewing items!

LOL Yes the cones and wooly nylon ones are arranged by color as I have at least 3-4 of each color. They are for my serger mainly. The spools are in clear plastic containers and as much as I can keep like colors together I do.

Go ahead, ask me how many bobbins I have? LOL I couldn't tell you that either!
