I have been promising you ladies pictures so here they are: First up is the nightgown I made for myself. 100% cotton fabric and NO lace or frills, I can't stand them, they make me itch. LOL I even sewed the seams down flat after I serged them. Now that I sweat so much with these hot flashes, EVERYTHING makes me itch! So when I make something myself, it not only fits the way I like it, but I can do all those little things like sewing down seams in the construction process when it is much easier to do. ;D Here is a t-shirt I bought then modified. The neck was too tight for me and overall it was too long also. I am very short waisted. So I cut off the bottom and the ribbing around the neck, then used what I cut off the bottom to make a new neckband. I also played around with my new machine and embroidered around the neck band. As you can see I should have bought the next size up as my dress form is out to my measurements and the shirt is ummmm shall I say snug? Problem is I bought 3 others in the same size and now that I have removed the tags and washed them can't return them. Ugh.... guess I better loose some weight and next time try them on before I wash them.

Everything looks great as always. What pattern are you using for the night gowns, and what size are the shirts that don't fit you? I may be able to take them off your hands

The material in the nighty is very nice. The t-shirt looks a good length now. Well done.

I may be able to take them off your hands I just remembered to go check for you, it is Simplicity 8310, problem is I am almost sure I have had it for over 3 years now as I have another one I made that long ago. LOL Email me your measurements and I'll copy it for you if you like it. On the t-shirts sounds good to me, I'll check the size out and let you know tomorrow. Oh and they are all BRIGHT colors! That green looks mild on my monitor but it is actually electric green! LOL
