Do you grow fruit in your yard, and if so what kind and how many plants do you have?
We have strawberries..a couple plants.
And we have a passion fruit vine that we grow every year which bears fruit you can eat. Other than that, no..

Same as you with the strawberries. Our pears are ornamental ones that people plant near driveways. This isn't good is it? Just a few herbs, and a tomato and pumpkin last year for the vegies. Want to grow a tub of mandarines.
There are peaches that hang over from the spare block next door, the dog likes eating them especially.

Actually we have a seedling apple that we are hoping turns out to be nice, it should grow quite well this year, apples grow very fast.

Good luck with your apple tree ...nothing like a crisp apple in the autumn

We don't have any fruit trees or etc. My neighbor has grape vines, but my kiddos don't like the grapes. She always offers some, but they would just go to waste. I know of an orchard near here (1.5hrs away) that you can pick your own from. I won't get to go this year though.

Well, our Cherry tree finally bit the dust, and our apple tree is sick, so Don is planning on starting over with new ones so we can keep an eye on them and keep them sprayed.
