Growing eggplants

I ordered some seeds from Kings but the eggplant seeds were "temporarily unavailable" when they processed my order - so I asked them how I could get hold of them without doing another bulk order (and paying $3 postage) - they just asked that I send them 5x 50c stamps (the cost of the seeds) and a SAE and they posted the Florence Round Purple eggplant seeds back to me! That was nice and easy. These eggplants are hardy and grow quickly compared to other types, so I may have some luck with these in our cold little valley! Although when it is sunny, it is quite warm, as the valley acts as a "heat trap".

I've looked at that site before, but only at their sprouting equipment (I love "equipment"!) but have never bought anything. Good to know they give good service.
