Chickpeas SAVOURY SCONES Ingredients 225g "Four Leaf" whole-wheat flour 50g "Four Leaf" chick pea flour 50g melted butter or oil 50g grated cheese 1 beaten egg 1 tsp each oregano and marjoram ½ tsp black pepper 1 tbs soy sauce milk Method Rub the butter or oil into the whole-wheat and chick pea flours, then add the remaining ingredients, mixing well. Add enough milk to form a stiff dough. Roll the dough to approx.½" thick. Cut into 2-3" rounds and place on a flat baking tray. Brush with milk and bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes, turning them over after 10 minutes. Slice and serve with butter while still warm. Delicious with salads or soups.
