The place to put swap ideas.Below are ones originally posted on the Is There Such A Thing As A Literary Swap thread. Teddymaker"Linda, another one that I was in was a brooch(pin) swap...we were doing them for each season...I think we only got two done if I remember...Deed might remember this one, she sent me an adorable heart pin with a teddy bear on it...." TeddymakerMy favorite was an apron swap....For people who sew or just collect them how about a button or fabric swap??? Lynn"I do have some vintage material. I'd love to have some vintage buttons....maybe we could do a swap for that!: www.hearthandhome.proboards44.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=collect&thread=1154408417&page=1

"the book and tartlet candle swap were very enjoyable to me.
1. postcard swap - send 5 postcards to 5 other members on the list who in turn will send out there 5 to the same 5 on the list each should wind up with 5 postcards from whereever each lives.
2. tea towel friendship gift swap
3. hot pot pad friendship swap 4. votive candle or tartlet swap
5. stationery friendship gift swap
6. Book round robin - for instance the Beverly Lewis books - read them and forward them on via book rate to the next member on the list who has not read them - include a letter and your thoughts on the novels or a nice suprise glad to meet you letter.
7. tea cup/saucer friendship gift
8. ornament friendship gift 9. inspirational book gift
10.members sending to other members a birthday gift who are born in the same month.
11. mini gift basket friendship gift - same idea sending a mini gift basket to a member on the list - using themes like "coffee, tea, bath, hands, quilters, crocheters, knitters" etc.
12. Cookbook friendship gift - make up your own family recipe cookbook and send it as a gift to another member same as above - this one would have a longer start & finish date. Your cookbook can be a 3 ring binder or mini 3 ring binder, or stitched together pamphlet of recipes or otherwise.
13. Bookmark friendship gift."

I would love to do a church cookbook swap. Our church always has cookbooks that they sell, and I am sure most everyone runs across them where they live. It would be fun to get a cookbook from a church or civic organization that another H&H member attends.
