ooo, thanks br. Pineapple sage is one of the prettiest smelling herbs. I imagine it would taste yum in fruit salads.

My husband brought home two strong looking pineapple sage plants yesterday. It will be a nice addition to our autumn flowers. I will try to find a spot to plant them near a lavender like in the picture, they look good together.
I am sure the familiarity of the plant will make me feel more at home here.

I am so excited. My pineapple sage has flowered already. That means it will flower until about June next year. It has to be a miracle because usually they take until autumn to flowers and it is only the last month in spring.

My pineapple sage is really tall now, 4 foot or more, I'd say more. It has flowers and is holding on. I noticed a planted a tree near it so that will protect it a bit when it grows.

I am happy that the tree is now taller than the pineapple sage. We had very bad frosts this year, and forgot how much it should be pruned so just cut a moderate amount off. Now it is both shooting from the bottom and also from the branches slowly. The shoots from the bottom are growing very well. Hopefully now we will have this plant for many years to come.
