A square or rectangular basket filled with little square tubes of mixed herbs.
Very popular at Ginny's Herbs in NZ.
I have a box of herbs I bought on the weekend and they are so special together it is a shame to take them out of the box.
I was given this gift as a child in a different container and absolutely loved it.

OR you could use the round tubes (like test tubes) with cork stoppers.

Do you call very small pots tubes over there? Some nurseries have heaps, the plants then only cost about $2 for more common plants.
My uncle used to grow his own plants in plastic drink cups and things like that that he had saved.

no, I was just thinking of different ways to display the herbs. I have seen this done several times and think it is just great (small but great none the less)
We call our small pot , "planters" or "pots" here too.
