I don't think I have seen that site before. I haven't seen rosemary Christmas trees either. Sounds lovely.

I didn't know lemon verbena was good for butterflies. Ours is just coming into flower.
They also have lavender biscuit/cookies recipe.
LAVENDER COOKIES
These cookies are probably better classified as shortbread.
1 cup butter 2 cups sugar 1 egg, beaten 1 Tbsp. dried lavender flowers 1 cup self-rising flour
Cream butter and sugar; add egg. Mix in lavender and flour. Place small heaps on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes or till golden brown in color.
I found an interesting herb plant outside our food shop last week. It looked not that appealing, but I think I should have bought it anyway. I figured it must have had some good qualities to be there.

Those cookies look interesting. I need to do more research on lavender cause I was reading that there is a food grade lavender and I am not sure if it is the same kind that grows in my backyard. Have you ever used average yard lavender in recipes before?

I am a bit scared like you. Not sure if French or Spanish lavender is OK for cooking.
