I didn't realise it was the same thing as the locust bean, you often see locust bean gum as an ingredient in yoghurts and frozen desserts. I quite like the carob flavour, different to chocolate - sometimes chocolate can be too sweet! ;D

My husband was saying that something like that is used to make the pastes that hold the dye to print material.
