We have this recipe somewhere as well, it is beautiful. I found it at www.aussieslivingsimply.com.au
Pearl Barley
1/4 cup pearl barley
juice and rind of 2 lemons
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon citric acid
3 litres boiling water
METHOD:
Mix all together to dissolve sugar, let cool and bottle. Drink as is or if to sweet and water as you would cordial.
This is a very old recipe and was used as we use Ural today for bladder infections.
