Today I was wandering around Goodwill and found 2 of the cutest vintage purses. The first one is all beads, white and clear. Even the handle is beads. The interior is a white cotton and it has a zipper at the top. Very feminine and dainty looking. The second one is made of jute/straw and has bead work flowers on the front. It has a wooden handle and the little gold "feet" on the bottom. The inside of this one is a cream colored vinyl. Both are adorable and I have no idea why I bought them other than that. I'm probably going to put them on ebay when I get off my lazy bottom and get that going again.
Just thought I'd share my goodies....

I asked on one of the discussion boards on ebay and found that they are probably from the 50's. One person suggested that I hold on to them until spring as they look more like a spring item and might sell better then. As for right now, I'm just enjoying having them and will probably try and sell them after the first of the year.

Retro things are HOT now Pat. Hang on to them if they are spring and then post them. I imagine they are worth quite a bit to the right person. People are decorating their homes now with the Retro look. I would love to see a picture of them please..since I am a product of the 50's..lol
