I went with my Mum to our favourite op-shop. It is a goodwill store that is located half way between our homes in a town of about 1,000 or less. The shops go two sides of a triangle with a park in the middle.
Mum is a seamstress or has been in the past, and she is handy to take there as she can see what will fit us. She found for me something like a microfibre suit, black pinstripe. It fits so well, I wouldn't be able to find anything like that even new. So I feel it is almost like a miracle lol.
I also got some chocolate pants that need an adjustment, but very nice pants. Our eldest daughter got some lovely chocolate pants and jeans as well, slightly too big, but she grows so fast and when she does she then has nothing to wear. So I think I did well. Medium dd got a black velvet long sleeved leotard to grow into, they never go astray and also some school pants that fit well. If not they can be used for sport.
Little dd was happy with a heart shaped box and a large pink icecream from the shop up the road.
