Yesterday dd brought home some nice decorator items from the opportunity shop. There were three tiny birdhouses, maybe they are homemade, but I love them. They fit on the mantelpiece with another birdhouse item my eldest son and his Nana made many years ago. Rather they painted it. The other item is three wooden animals hanging on wire for the kitchen. I already have one cow I got from Target many years ago that the kids seem to like. The animals are hanging from a bakerlite knob on my kauri dresser. I love this as I don't have spare cash for things like that. I find that others have better taste than me and I like to get what others have already bought, if that makes sense.

That makes perfect sense Braided Rug. Let someone else pay the full price. I like to look for little things for the house too. It is the only way I can decorate. We only have one "thrift store" here. I have been in the mood to go. Maybe next week. It is really junky and alot of stuff is outside in the elements unless it is in one of the rooms they have. I will have to take pictures when I go next.
