Today I have been to the op-shop twice. Someone cleaned out their entire cookbook collection from the 80s I think. They are similar to some of mine. I haven't read them properly yet. They cost .40c each time, it is tempting to get some more, read them and take back which ones I feel are just junk.
It was 40c each time I went and came back with an armload.

Wow what a deal. It's always fun to look through old cookbooks. I have not been to our only "thrift" store in a long time. I've been itchin to go.

What a bargain, Br! I'm due for a visit to a couple of the local op shops.

Dd also knew about some Pumpkin Patch jeans that were there and she loves them.

I also got an Australian Country Style in the vintage I like with an interview with Michael Caton. I thought that was good.

Very recently dh and I were discussing how our cutlery set is getting smaller. We have been using wedding presents that dh and his first wife got, and finally used up all the cutlery. Our favourite set is the rose one. We didn't have enough knives lately. Maybe I used them in the garden? Possibly not.
DH found three knives of the rose set at the op-shop today and brought them home.
It came up originally as there is a nice large formal set in the Chrisco catalogue and I was wondering if I should purchase my first cutlery set.
I still might but it gave me a lift to get three rose knives.
DS brought home a stereo/TV cabinet that he bought with his $5. It is lovely I think.
He is rearranging his room again lol.

A similiar story with the cookbooks again today. It was a more expensive op-shop but dh and ds got four cookbooks for $4. One was an extension of one favourite I already have. There were some gem recipes there, I will share some with you.

Yesterday a beautiful Abee Enchanted Forest Cottage. The girls have had wonderful fun colouring the inside. It has four chimneys and lovely designs and little places to store treasures.

We are still enjoying the cottage.
Today dd10 found three t-shirts for herself. It all helps as our clothing budget is near zero until our house sells. She did find she fitted some of eldest sisters nice at the time t-shirts and has been wearing those as well.
