Junk shop whatever you call it. I got me a huge handful of knitting needles and crichet hooks for 1 euro for the whole batch. My daughter and I are determined to learn this year. I got an old blue enamelware cooking pot, very large for 2 euros. I was very happy. I enjoy rummaging through stuff.

Good bargains there, cupcake. I've promised myself a visit to our closest op shop this week. Op shop is short for Opportunity shop; not sure of the historical reasons for it, but they're all charity run.

I have been seeing people's knitting needle collections in the op-shop lately, they look nice. That is great that you have what you need cupcake.

I remember a thrift store in the past in California called opportunity shop. There are so many different charity run ones. The kinitting needles are in different sizes. They were all out of yarn though. Guess I'll have to wait to find me some. I don't want to buy any nice yarn, I was hoping to find some old yarn to practice with and buy good yarn for when we get better at it. Already my daughter (12) is doing better than I.

That is interesting about the opportunity shop.
I hope you find some wool soon. I really worry the girls haven't learnt yet, so well done! I'm really happy for your daughter.

DH dropped off some stuff, and brought home another cookbook called Jean's Beans. It is still available on Amazon and I really like it.
