I went to the summer kitchen to get into my yarn stash (working on Christmas presents ya know). . . . I could hear the dog whinning. . . so I stepped out to see what was wrong. . . and the horse was going beserk in the corral. I went to try to calm her down, so she wouldn't get hurt- and nearly got trampled in the process. . . I've never seen her quite so anxious. Meanwhile, the dog is still whinning , the horse is still galloping around the corral. . and I start hearing "weird" noises. . . Mind you I'm standing out doors- and I hear something between a voice and grating noise. sort of like when you have static on the radio, but think you can hear voices under the static. At any rate- I went back in the house, and left the animals to deal with their own problems I'm a terrible pet owner.

That's really weird. I'd have done the same thing. Did you ever figure out what it was?

I never did figure it out. . . must have just been my overactive imagination.
