It's so dry here you can see the bottom of Silver Creek. An 80 year old farmer friend says he's never seen it so dry this time of year. The winds blowing hard though and we are suppose to have some snow on the way!

Very dry here in the deep south also. We are in dire need of some serious rain. Snow? Wow...I can count on my hands the times I've seen snow in my entire life.

very dry here as well, I had to water the lawn and gardens one last time (I hope) this weekend since the temps picked up a bit during the day.

We had a very dry autumn last year. We have since made up for it. Hope it is the same for you. It was very desperate last autumn but the rain came for the ones who did get a crop in. Our lake down the road a bit is very full, but you should have seen it before.

Br is quite right, even in the city where we live the water storage was below 50% which is unheard of. We've had a good bit of rain lately, and it seems to be falling around the catchment areas too, so maybe your weather pattern will be similar.

It was raining and muddy when I got up this morning. Now, 2 1/2 hours later, there's a good inch of show on the ground! The munchkins want to go out and play!

Well gals, I can tell you it's wet in Wisconsin right now. Blustery winds, temps in the low 30's, and snow flying by the window! (it's too soon!!!)

Well...........friends, It is bright blue skies and sunshine here in the Callifornia mountains! A beautiful fall day with temps about 70 today. Lots of pretty colored leaves and plenty for me to go and rake up before it finally does rain and I have one big soggy mess out there!! I'm at the 2300 ft. level and haven't had snow here for the last 8 years or so.......but.......up the road 15 min. and you are in big snow!! So.......it raking leaves for me today and then off to my sons house to lend a hand in residing his house before the snow flies up there in Fish Camp.....5,000 ft. level! Hope you all are having a great fall........wherever you are!

Ladies, today we are getting snow!! It's very, very windy and snowy. The weather forcast shows snow for two more days......this time of year it usually melts and then we'll get it again later.

Well, it's 52º today and all of our snow is gone. At least we got some moisture! I do get annoyed by the snow, melt, snow some more cycle. The last few years we've only had a week or 2 in January when it stays cold enough not to thaw. When I was a kid we had snow all winter.
