Wedsday evening, we had a bad thunderstorm with lasted all evening--there was big winds, like I never seen before, hard rain and all of a sudden no electricity....and then my son said come see in the back yard....my neigbour's tree was unrooted. It was a huge tree. It fell on the electric cables and over our fence and party in our pool!
We couldn't beleive it! Pierre sent to see the neighbour and called hydroquebec and they had a mesage recording. Pierre went to the police to ask them to contact hydro and an hour later they phoned my niegbour and told him they would be there as soon as they could but it would take long because there were many problems because of these winds and rain.
Well, they came alright---at 3h30 am. They worked for at least 1 1/2 and it was noisy--they cut the tree in pieces with a chain saw...anyways, we have electricity now as you can see and I can tell you I have never seen such rain and winds here....

Glad it went in the yard and not on your home, but sorry about your pool, hope the damage isn't too bad.
