Beautiful, BR. I love mountains! Where I live is mostly flat, with some rolling hills, but no mountains.

I wake up to a view of that mountain everyday. The mountain color is the same as the hills I grew up with.

Wow, Br, how do you find all this stuff??
For you non-Australians, the beautiful countryside photos are of around Br's neck of the woods, if you look at the city photos, they're close to me. Dh works in the city center where a lot of those pics were taken.
I'll have to get off my backside and take some photos over the weekend, but they sure won't be so good as the ones you posted, Br.

I'm glad you liked them.
DH said to me if I had a million dollars, would I buy a house with the iron gate in Melbourne, (maybe I need $2 million?) or a farm. I think I would go for the Melb. option.
I forgot to say that when you view the iron fence photo you have to imagine the "ding ding" and whirr of the trams like in San Fran only different.

Here is some more beautiful photos of Melbourne. My favourite is the bridge over the Yarra in real life. I also love China Town. MV will have to explain, I think they are the shrine for wwII and maybe St. Nicholas cathedral? And parliament house? bayimages.net/australia/melbourne/

Interesting and very pretty. I think I would prefer the countryside, though.

Everyone's photo's are lovely! Thank you for sharing them. Cara I think Br's mountains look sort of like the Shenandoah's don't you? I have to see if I can find some from around here for you all.

I couldn't really find a website about our town, so I thought I'd post a picture of our house. It needs painting, but this is our home sweet home.

Cheryl, your house is gorgeous! What colors are you thinking of painting it?
Oh, and Br, don't ask me about the city I live in - it's rare I ever go near the city center so I'm pretty clueless about what's in there lol!
