In the night of the 26 of Jan. a 17 year old girl was murdered in a gaz station near where I used to live when I was younger. They have been talking about this everyday in the news and I don't usually talk about bad news but this has really affected me, as my son works the night shift in a gaz station. Actually, all Quebec is in shock about this and it's on every tv, radio talk shows since it happened. They also found one of the suspects... It disgusts me to see how much human violence exists in this world.... www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20060126.wteen0126/BNStory/National/

I wanted to add that I was relieved to find out that François might be getting a better job in the weeks to come. His girlfriend's father reffered him to a friend who would hire him to be janitor. It would be a safer job and it would pay $13...something dollars instead of $8,60 an hour like he earns now.

Good news Lucie.
We had one murder near our first home. It was her ex. So we figure it was safe for us. I'm sorry this has upset you.
