My dd's boyfriend's mom got a letter from her lawyer. She has inherited 8.5 MILLION dollars (that is the amount AFTER taxes.)

I can't even wrap my mind around that kind of money. I had no idea they had anyone in their family that had money, since her boyfriend has been in foster care most of his life.
