Our post will be gaining people (realigning - not closing). Is anyone seeing an impact near them for closings?

Well, officially they aren't closing the base in Springfield IL-- but they have successfull neutered it. They are removing all the planes from the base-- so. . . . most of the military will be re-assigned to other bases. . . .

Personally, it affects me - in that we are losing several of our staff nurses, as their husbands have been reassigned to other states.
