I don't use green bags, but my family does and we have quite a few. However, to save forgetting to bring them with you, you could try a new envirosac. www.envirosax.com/I used boxes or ask for bags if they have them. Green bags are used heavily in Australia. They don't suit me as I tend to fill the trolley right up and like to be able to restack the trolley. Boxes work well for me. I also don't like to wipe out spills in the bags. Maybe these new bags are washable. It would be great if they were.

We use them in France too. Each store sells a heavy duty sack for 60 cents usually. I have amassed a huge collection ;D unintentionally. They come in handy for other uses besides shopping.

Those look very nice, Br.
I currently have a boot-full of shopping bags from a variety of supermarkets. Many clothes/shoes retailers are now using them, so instead of having plastic bags that can be reused as bin liners etc., we are ending up with a squillion unnecessary reusable bags, which don't seem to wear out. Dd has them hanging on her walls, would you believe, as a reminder of the new clothes she's bought!

Big excitement today. ;D DD9 got a pink bag like you described Violet from Lowes. It looks quite nice with buckles of some sort on the straps. I think she was very pleased.
