Here are my thoughts on this. If you emigrate to another country other than where you were born, you should learn the language of that country. I don't care if it is the USA, Spain, Germany or Russia. YOU wanted to move there, so learn the language!
In the above quote from the article, the UBO president says by doing this they are showing support for the "undocumented migrants". Well if he wants to support them, then he can sponsor them and pay their way too and not put it on the rest of us who are the taxpayers.
And just to clarify where he says "Today we are Americans". Just because someone crosses the border into another country, or in this case America, does NOT make you a citizen of that country. There are steps you have to take to become a citizen of any country, which then afford you the rights of all citizens of that country. In this case, being able to vote and paying taxes like the rest of us.

Um, I prefer to hear it in English.
Oh and why don't they donate all the funds if they are so supportive??
"The "Nuestro Himno" record will be sold for $10, with a portion going to Washington-based National Capital Immigration Coalition, UBO said"

English is our language. Learn it and adapt to us. Not the other way around. It sometimes makes me irate to be on the phone and hear that "Please press 2 to continue in English." Nope. I shouldn't have to press anything.
Hot topic in our area.

I grew up with Spanish and Italians, not many Australians.
