These are two websites where you can click and save the environment/animals/hungry children/donate mammograms etc for free:

www.ecologyfund.com/

Not sure if it works, but there is a lot of advertising on the sites that fund the different causes.

Sounds good, rosebee, but I've always wondered if those things actually work. Are the charities paid by the advertiser per click? If so, I wonder how the advertisers make money? I can't imagine they'd do it for nothing. Hm.
