My first picking of green beans was this weekend. Sitting there snapping those beans brought back a ton of memories from my childhood. I put up 6 quarts of the beans. I did blanche them first and then froze them. Those will be some tasty meals come winter time. I told Mel that the next picking will be for my dinner one evening this week. Add some cornbread and I'll be a happy person!
