I make my grocery money on ebay. I already pay nearly $100 a month in fees. What I did, not that I promoting it or anything, was up the shipping cost in the listing. When I send out an invoice I send my personal account addy and add in actual shipping. Then when I got a CC payment, I emailed them back and said it would need to be sent to the addy of my premeir account, and btw, I miss quoted shipping, the listing states $x.xx.
This is what another lady is doing:
I plan to list my auctions after August 19 by stating the following:
I accept cash, checks and money orders for payment. Yes, I do have a paypal account, but ebay prohibits me from offering paypal to you as an acceptable form of payment because I refuse to upgrade to a business/premiere account and thus pay fees to both ebay for listing and selling, and fees to paypal for accepting payments. I prefer to keep my costs to you, the customer, low so that you may save money.
Then, if a person pays you by paypal, well, you can't help that, now can you? You didn't offer paypal as a payment option but you still let them know that you do have paypal.
ebay is the only place I can "peddle" coupons. Fortunately I've got some other stuff in the works.
See you on Yahoo!
