Look! I made the front page of the local paper! LOL! Here's my front door. The big sign is my Open/Closed sign. The little one is from the funeral home. You can kind of see the large open area to the north. The man that owns the building keeps his car collection in the part that sits back there. This is my window, off that open area I mentioned. Now I have a "long-legged" Santa on the left and a 2' Christmas tree on the right with little snowmen and Christmas candles in the middle and Christmas lights along the front on the bottom. It's lined with quilt tops. The south wall of the shop is where most of Mom's dolls and tablerunners are. I've got snowmen on the shelf in the middle now. This is what you see when you come in the front door. I have a little office back there behind my gifted display case. I put a Christmas tree with angel and snowman ornaments on it on top of that funny round table. I guess I should take some more pics to show you the unusual funiture I've got in there.

Very nice displays. Congrats on getting the store opened! One comment though is that I would try to find something to cover the walls a bit - make it homey - I'm thinking maybe 'vintage' advertising or anything at all that says 'country'. Would love to be close enough to browse. Well done.

Thanks Beth. I really only have 1 small portion of wall that doesn't have anything on it in the corner where that blue tub is. There are crosses on the wall near the register, behind that is the heater and a door. Going the other way are those tall bookshelves. I put the snowman plaque there and the snowmen. The front wall has a AC unit in the middle of it. I have a painted glass Last Supper hanging over the AC and a bulletin board by the front door. If you keep going around you have the window, a stand in front of a mirror, another very tall shelf and then a plantstand before you getto the bathroom. I have angel plaques and plates hanging over the plant stand. It really is just that corner. I had some plans for sil's cards, but now that's changed I guess. I have my old school chairs in the back of my van to take up today. We'll see how it looks when I get those out in that corner and lose the tubs!
