through the house, not a dollar was hiding....
So what happens? Well, on Sunday dd woke up with a blister having grown on her finger overnight. No big deal, huh? Monday it was a little bigger but this morning - gross, it covered half of her finger. It was enormous.
Nearly $100 later, she's had it cleaned out by the doctor and is on a course of meds to clear the infection. Noone can work out how it happened, but something has gotten in there and caused a giant infection. The area concerned is about 2 inches long. Anyhow, it should settle in the next 24 hours with the antibiotics.
But why, oh, why, does this kind of thing always happen the day before payday, when the cupboards and Mom's purse are bare??

It always seems to happen every time doesn't it? I was scratching around for a bus ticket. All of a sudden it had to be done right now. I am always very grateful after I pull another rabbit out of a hat.

On the other hand we have had minor miracles when something happens when we do have money and I am grateful for those too.

I love those times, too, Br - but there seem to be a lot less of them!

Murphy's law at work again!!!...I hope your dd is doing better Violet.....My dd called this morning and asked me to please deposit 50.00 dollars in here account so she wouldn't get an overdraft fee....I don't have 50.00 in my account until payday tomorrow...I feel really bad ...I can do it in the morning, so hopefully it will make it before she gets charged
