My emergency fund needs rescuing! The bills and doctor's bills and medicine costs and "mum, I need x for the formal" requests have escalated to the point of ridiculous this year. Boo hoo I'm feeling positively plundered, with seemingly no prospect of building it up again.
Br said something about August being a month of dread - and remember that it's our winter so the bills are at their highest - and she sure is right so far and it's not even quite August. Aarrgggh.
