I have one. It was one of those small appliances I couldn't live without and I think I have used it twice in the last 4-5 years!
So how about you, do you have one? What do you use it for?

I have an old one my neighbor gave me. I can't even find a brand name on it really. She doesn't have the book anymore and I havent been able to find one online for it. She got a new one, since this one is really slow. I might just give this one to goodwill and get something a little newer with instructions!

I had one and wore it out. Never invested in another one.

I've got one around here somewhere. Dh uses it for jerky, but I'd like to start making some snacks with it. The little ones LOVE dried apples.

I'm really debating on whether I should get one of these. I just can't decide. Finding one on sale would probably help with the decision making.

Hurray for you Kayla. I'm still wanting one but not enough to actually go buy it.

We have two-- and during harvest season I keep them going almost 24 hours a day.
We make jerky, fruit leathers, dried/minced onions, any fruit or veggie that won't quite make another quart for canning, mashed potato flakes, zuchinni chips (we use these rather than potato chips a lot), too many things to list.

That is very industrious Denise.
Dried figs are very nice.
We have a square silver 70s looking one. My Mum borrowed it, I hope it turns up when she moves, if she moves soon. I haven't seen it for awhile. It has drawers.
Kayla makes yoghurt in hers I think.
What else do you use it for Kayla?
